Building the golf club can seem simple, but WHAT standards do you follow? What charts are correct? Why are lofts of clubs all over the place? Most of the Charts and Tables used by the golf companies were developed in the early 1900’s when hickory shafts were the norm.
Every club was custom built at that time; the length of clubs, lofts of clubs, lie of clubs, heft of clubs were all put into some chart so that measurements could be made to create standard clubs. Many of these charts are still being followed, even though our materials, methods and most everything associated with Golf has changed over the years. We at NVI Golf look at the REAL world today and build clubs accordingly.
If you swing fast, 4-degrees between clubs makes sense; if your swing speed is average, 5-degrees between clubs makes more sense; slow swingers will benefit from 6-degrees between clubs.
Do you need 14-clubs or can you golf better with 10-properly fit clubs or somewhere in between? Our experience has taught us to look at each golfer and build the set for them. Shafts lengths that will give you the most control; Lofts that make sense for your swing speed ; Heft that makes your swing effortless will work best for you!
We will put together the optimum set of clubs to fit you; you will have your own unique set makeup that you can hit it with confidence. NVI Golf uses all forms of club matching to ensure the very best for your particular swing across the entire set of clubs. We use Moment Of Inertia, MOI matching as our preferred offering, but also will swing-weight match and frequency match your entire set for consistency and predictable shot making.
